Does your child come home:
- with a back-pack full of disorganized papers
- telling you that he/she hates school
- fails to turn in completed work
- has multiple missing assignments
- forgets assignments or books at school or at home
- procrastinates and tells you last minute about projects due

If you have answered yes to one or more on the above list, then it is very likely that your child is need of Educational Intervention and Support.

Music Therapy is an alternative method that addresses the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social needs of children and adults with disabilities and/or special needs. Using a vehicle such as music, our Specialists are able to assist in improving the quality of life of children with special needs by helping to rebuild the connections that may have been missing due to disability or illness.

Our music specialists will provide a keyboard for your child to utilize during the scheduled lessons.

Surfing provides sensory stimulation. We work on Gross Motor Skills, and Motor Planning (concentrating on both upper and lower extremities), including balance. Surfing also provides cardiovascular conditioning, and the opportunity to increase muscle tone. We also work on cognitive stimulation such as focusing and task completion. Surfing also provides opportunities for social interaction; therefore, promoting speech and language development. It is also a wonderful way to increase self-esteem, self-efficacy, and to boost confidence levels.

Currently, we are a private pay company and are not a vendor of the Regional Center.

We currently offer private in-home or at-school services throughout the San Fernando Valley and the West Los Angeles area. Our surf program, Shaka Surf Club, is based in the Malibu and Venice Beach area.

We offer flexible schedules 7 days a week.
